The title of this article may feel as if it does not reflect the present day , it is true.

Investec Ltd is a very intergrated financial institution with an asset management division used to be called Investec Fund Managers ,which in 2021 Investec ltd successfully pin-off this division to be standalone entity and in that process there was a need for new name on this spin-off division, that new name is Ninety One Fund Managers. This new name is derived from the fact that this asset management division was established in 1991.

Ninety One got a solid list of unit trusts that covers all ASISA sector classifications , after the unbundling from Investec Ltd , from our records, it only introduced 3 new global focused unit trusts funds. The first two were introduced in 2022, namely Ninety One Global Enviromnent Feeder Fund and Ninety One Global Franchise Feeeder Fund and the third and last fund is Ninety One Global Diversified Income Feeder Fund. The Ninety One Global Environment Feeder Fund aims to invest in companies contributing to greater decarbonisation while the Franchise Fund goes for global franchising companies
