The final quarter of 2023 witnessed a significant boost in the property index, driven by cheap valuations and the anticipation of interest rate declines that propelled property stocks to rally, both globally and locally. This strength continued into the first months of 2024, albeit at a moderated pace as rate cut expectations have been pushed back.

In 2017 , Lion of Africa existed the unit trust operations to concentrate on assurance business, it operated 2 unit trusts LoA Equity Fund and loA Real Return Fund.As of 2025, Botique Collective Investments (BCI) has the biggest number of third party funds followed by Prescient Collective Investments.With more than 400 co-managed unit trusts , BCI is by far the biggest administrator of unit trusts in SA as of 2020s. |
